Sylvan Learning, a globally recognized leader in supplemental and enrichment education for kindergartners to 12th graders, formally opened on Wednesday. The CEO of Sylvan, John McAuliffe, expressed his pride in bringing an all-subjected resource in Lake Wylie to aid students at every juncture of their academic sojourn.

The ownership of Sylvan Learning Lake Wylie is held by locals Nancy and Joe Shrewsbury. Nancy brings over two decades of teaching experience into this venture. She stated, “Though I ended my career as a schoolteacher, I decided to pour my energy and time into something I genuinely adore outside the traditional classroom setting.” Nancy’s intention is to offer a reliable resource for learners regardless of their position in the educational odyssey.
