Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop baseball had three players represent the program on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, announced by CSC Tuesday afternoon. Nate Chronis, Brady Houston, and Parker Whittle are the Eagles’ representatives on the all-district team. With the selection of these three, the Eagles now have five academic all-district selections all-time.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Baseball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
The three Eagles’ exceptional dedication to both academics and baseball has earned them a well-deserved spot on the prestigious Academic All-District Team. Nate Chronis, Brady Houston, and Parker Whittle’s hard work and commitment set a high standard for student-athletes everywhere.
