Rock Hill, South Carolina – A new trampoline park named Big Air is set to make its debut at the Galleria Mall next year. The announcement was made on Wednesday by the Warren Norman Company. Big Air will bring a host of attractions, including a ninja course, climbing walls, a zipline, dodgeball courts, and even a mechanical bull.
The trampoline park will cover 30,000 square feet of space within the mall. It will also feature designated areas for children aged six and younger, ensuring that younger visitors can enjoy themselves safely. Additional amenities include a café for refreshments and multiple party rooms for celebrations.
Rock Hill natives Ashley Colwell and her husband, John Colwell, will manage this new Big Air location. The couple already operates a Big Air facility in Lexington, South Carolina, and expressed excitement about expanding their business in their hometown. “Our roots are here in Rock Hill,” Ashley Colwell stated.
The 2295 Dave Lyle Blvd. site will join a variety of anchors in the Galleria Mall, including Belk, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Ashley Furniture. The mall also features the Stars and Strikes bowling alley, making it a go-to location for entertainment options.
The Warren Norman Company has a long history with the Galleria Mall, as they were involved in land development decades ago before acquiring the mall about five years ago. With the addition of Big Air, the mall aims to enhance its attractiveness to families and young people seeking recreational activities.
The new trampoline park is expected to create approximately 100 job opportunities for local residents. This development is seen as a positive addition to the community, providing employment as well as a new recreational space for families.
The anticipated opening for the Big Air trampoline park is projected for the third quarter of next year. Residents of Rock Hill and surrounding areas can look forward to a new venue for fun and fitness.
The addition of Big Air is expected to draw visitors not only from Rock Hill but from nearby cities as well. With increasing options for family-friendly activities in the area, the trampoline park aims to contribute to the local economy and enhance the overall experience at the Galleria Mall.
The arrival of Big Air trampoline park marks an exciting new chapter for both the Galleria Mall and Rock Hill. As it prepares to open its doors, it promises to deliver a diverse range of activities designed for fun-loving individuals of all ages.
