Upcoming Selection Show for NCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament

As the anticipation builds in Indianapolis, fans are eagerly counting down the days to the official selection show for the 2024 NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Tournament. Scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, Dec. 1, viewers can tune in to watch the selection process live on ESPN.

In preparation for the selection show, NCAA analyst Michella Chester recently revealed her predictions for the 64-team bracket. Her projections come after the committee announced its top 16 rankings on Oct. 20. Chester based her analysis on the current standings while considering how teams might perform as the season progresses.

In addition to predicting the 31 automatic qualifiers (AQs), Chester is applying specific criteria for selecting at-large bids. To earn an at-large spot, teams must maintain a record of .500 or better, as specified by NCAA rules. This adds additional excitement as teams continue to battle for those coveted spots ahead of the tournament.
