Vermont High School Fall Sports Season Kicks Off
The 2024 Vermont high school fall sports season began with exciting games on various fields across the state. Fans gathered to support local teams, with action in soccer, field hockey, volleyball, golf, and cross-country running. Milton defeated Lyndon 2-0, with Saj Sanders scoring one goal and providing an assist. The Milton defense proved strong, not allowing any penalty corners from Lyndon.
St. Johnsbury also celebrated a victory, beating North Country 2-0. Molly Kimber and Meredith Roy scored the goals for St. Johnsbury, both coming from penalty corners.

South Burlington edged out BFA-St. Albans 2-1 in an overtime thriller, with Katie Williams clinching the victory just minutes into the extra period.
