Week 7 Fantasy Football Sleepers: Players to Watch in London NFL Action

"Football Stadium Skyline"

London is set to host some exciting NFL action this week as fantasy football managers look for sleeper picks to bolster their rosters. With the right matchups and a few injuries, this week could be pivotal for many. Week 7 features some great opportunities, particularly for quarterbacks and running backs facing weaker defenses.

One of the standout sleepers this week is Drake Maye, the rookie quarterback for the New England Patriots. After a solid debut last week, where he threw for 243 yards and three touchdowns against a tough Houston Texans defense, he faces the Jacksonville Jaguars next in London. The Jaguars have struggled, allowing the most passing yards and touchdowns so far this season. If the Patriots give Maye the go-ahead after a recent knee MRI, he could easily break the 300-yard mark and finish as a top 10 fantasy quarterback again.

In the backfield, J.K. Dobbins is stepping up for the Los Angeles Chargers with his impressive performance last week, racking up 96 rushing yards and a touchdown. With Gus Edwards on injured reserve, rookie Kimani Vidal could also play a significant role, especially against the Arizona Cardinals, who rank poorly in stopping the run.

Meanwhile, if Jonathan Taylor misses another game, keep an eye on Tyler Goodson of the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are up against the Miami Dolphins, who are struggling to contain running backs. Goodson can grab some of the workload, including potential catches in the passing game.

On the receiving front, Emari Demercado is someone to watch as he capitalizes on potential absences in the Arizona passing game, specifically if Marvin Harrison Jr. misses time due to concussion protocol. With his ability to catch passes out of the backfield, Demercado could be a solid option for fantasy scoring.

The Carolina Panthers rookie wideout Xavier Legette is also making waves, showing solid production and catching the eye of fantasy players. He’s been a reliable target, especially with Adam Thielen sidelined.

Lastly, keep tabs on wide receiver Noah Brown from the Washington Commanders. Despite dealing with a groin injury, he has shown consistent performance in recent games and could have a favorable matchup against the Panthers, who have struggled against the pass.

As Week 7 unfolds, don’t overlook these potential sleeper picks that could make a significant impact during this fantasy football season.
