In a befitting tribute to her contributions to basketball, Semeka Randall-Lay, the Winthrop Women’s Basketball Head Coach, has been inducted into the American Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2024 class. The American Basketball Hall of Fame which is located in Detroit, Michigan, narrates the illustrious history of basketball while honouring its legends.

As the only female inductee in this year’s class, Randall-Lay’s recognition is indeed a significant achievement, imprinting her legacy in the annals of basketball.
