High Point, NC – The Winthrop Eagles fell short in a close match against the High Point Panthers with a final score of 11-7. Despite a strong effort, Winthrop moves to 17-27-1 overall and 6-13 in Big South play.

Charlie Evans led the charge for Winthrop with an impressive performance, going 3-5 at the plate with a run, four RBIs, and a three-run homer. The pitching decision fell to Brett Wozniak (7-1) for High Point, while Owen Sarna (4-4) took the loss for Winthrop. Cael Chatham secured the save, his fifth of the season.
