Winthrop Women’s Basketball Announces 2024-25 Non-Conference Schedule
Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop women’s basketball head coach Semeka Randall-Lay has unveiled the team’s 2024-25 schedule, featuring a 13-game non-conference lineup before diving into Big South Conference play.
Key Highlights
The Eagles will kick off the season with a road game against Georgia Tech on Monday, Nov. 4, followed by their home opener against Paine College on Sunday, Nov. 10. The team will then embark on a three-game road trip, including matchups against Queens, Wake Forest, and UNCW.
After Thanksgiving, Winthrop will face off against North Florida and Johnson and Wales at home before heading to Puerto Rico for back-to-back neutral site games against American and Air Force.
Returning to the U.S., the team will wrap up their non-conference schedule with four games in December, including matchups against South Carolina State, Charlotte, North Carolina Central University, and a showdown against Tennessee in Knoxville.
